The ID.4 Pro comes with an EPA-estimated 260-mile driving range while the 1st Edition and Pro S models are rated for 250 miles per charge. Rear-wheel drive is standard but all-wheel drive is optional and its extra power leads to much quicker acceleration times.

No.4 Ford Mustang Mach-E (18,855 units sold)*

The Mach-E is available in a handful of configurations, including with rear- or all-wheel drive and with up to an estimated 305 miles of driving range. The Mach-E is designed in the style of the Mustang and drives like it was engineered by people who care. An extra-sporty version, the Mach-E GT, is on its way. The GT will have 480 horsepower, and Ford says it will hit 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.

No.3 Chevrolet Bolt EV and EUV (24,803 units sold)*

The Bolt has 200 horsepower and an estimated 259 miles of range. This is not your dad's chevy. An optional DC fast-charging capability allows the Bolt to gain 100 miles of range every 30 minutes at Level 3 charging stations. 

No.2 Tesla Model 3 (94,900 units sold)*

The Tesla Model 3 is one of the best EVs around: practical, high-tech and boasting great performance and range. Understated styling hides a sophisticated electric drivetrain and an ultra-modern interior that’s dominated by a huge touchscreen. It is a non-SUV version of the Model Y offering an impressive charging range between 263-353 miles. In addition, it offers an MPGe range of 133-150 miles.

No.1 Tesla Model Y (132,000 units sold)*

The Model Y comes with a base price north of $40,000. Model Y is a crossover hatchback SUV. It offers a charging range between 244-326 miles. In addition, it provides an MPGe range of 119-140 miles. This top-selling EV has outsold all other non-Tesla EV's combined.
